ZAMFARA POLICE ARREST NOTORIOUS KIDNAP SUSPECT

Zamfara police command has arrested crime perpetrators who masterminded the Kidnapping of a 4 year old boy Abubakar Alh. Abubakar in Talata Mafara local government area of the state.

Disclosing this to the press, the command Public Relations Officer SP Muhammed Shehu said the suspects who now in police custody are one Umar Na Doki of T/Mafara who, along with two (2) others already in Police custody Kidnapped the victim and collected a Ransom of one million Naira (1,000000) from relations of the victim.

It would be recalled mid last month, a three (3) man gang of Kidnappers stormed the House of Alhaji Abubakar Mainaira in T/Mafara and Kidnapped his 4 year old son (Abubakar) to unknown destination.

The Police spokesman Shehu Muhammed said on hearing the report, the police quickly responded, Rescued the Victim and arrested two suspects (2) Namely: Bashir Mohammed and Abdulhameed Abdulazeez both male of T/Mafara.

In the course of Police investigation he said,: all the suspects voluntarily made confessional statement.

SP Shehu said exhibits recovered from suspects include Four hundred and thirteen thousand naira (413,000.00), Land purchase agreement valued #170,000.00, and Two (2) handsets valued #93000.00, and Clothes and shoes valued #81,000.00.

He said as the suspects have been charged to court for prosecution, the Command appeals for continued support and cooperation by giving useful and timely information to the Police and other security agencies in order to help rid the state of all forms of crimes in the state.
