Groups Urge INEC To Commence Public Enlightenment On New Voting System

The Youth For Good Governance (YGG) and Youth For Democracy (YFD), a democratic supports groups have called on the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to commence the public Enlightenment programmes in order to enlighten the general public about the  2023 election voting system.

They made the appeal at the end of their meeting in Kano, adding that the voting system Enlightenment programmes would enable the electorates to vote wisely and have a successful election especially when the electoral body is working to makes 2023 election hitch-free.

Similarly, according to  the group  leaders, making public Enlightenment about a new system would facilitate good election results that would promote better democratic dispensation in Nigeria like what is expected by the Nigeria’s citizens.

In conclusion, most of the people that had a chat with our correspondent disclosed that the 2023 general elections would determine how the Nigeria’s democracy would continue to benefits the citizens at both rurwl and urban settlements.
