2023: Bishop Baba sensitises Nigerians on election of choice candidates

*Say’s Govt far from people, only see them in siren

The Bishop of Anglican Diocese church, Zaria, reverend Ishaya Baba has urges Christians to live a holy life as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Rev. Baba who stressed this at the first session of the fifth synod services held in St. Andrew Anglican church G.R.A Zaria on Sunday, also implored Nigerians to be mindful of their consciences when electing candidates of their choice.

The 5th synod service with the theme “The love of Christ, the food for biblical fruitfulness”, is a Christian Assembly organised by the Anglican diocese church annually for thanksgiving, deliberations and discussions on the driven power of Jesus Christ and the achievement recorded so far by the church.

Speaking shortly after the first plenary session of the program, the bishop also advocated for truthful love and unity among Christians and non Christians faithfuls

Reverend Ishaya Baba enjoined religion faithfuls to always strengthen their worship to God and do what is right in all circumstances.

In his sermons the Bishop of Anglican communion tasked Christian to use the period as a sober reflections.

On the Upcoming 2023 general elections, the Bishops implored Nigerians to be mindful of their consciences when electing candidates of their choice.

He cautioned the youths against indulging in political thuggery or any act that my destroy their future.

This year’s synod session grease the attendance of Bishops, pastors and reverence of the Anglican diocese church within and out side Kaduna State.

The Bishop said the government is very far away from the people that the only time the people notice the presence of the government is the sound of the siren when they are passing by.

He lamented that the economy of the country is a miracle, and called on the government to pay very close attention to our it for “this is what really make us as a nation.

On security matters, the Bishop said in any nation the principal thing is the security of life and protection of property of the citizens.

On ASUU, the Anglican Bishop said for 7 years now the education sector in Nigeria has become a casualty in the face of the huge political failure and economic challenge.

The Most Rev,d Ishaya Baba concluded his charge by advising the youths on election matters, and urged all the believers in Christ to vote wisely.
