Riyom Council Congratulates Gov. Mutfwang at 61, Commends Peace Efforts

The Executive Chairman of Riyom Local Government Council in Plateau State, Hon. Bature Sati Shuwa, has congratulated Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang on his 61st birthday, praising his leadership and commitment to peace in the state.

In a statement issued by the council’s Head of Information and Public Relations, Davis Amba, Shuwa described the governor as a “fatherly figure and committed democrat” whose leadership has continued to inspire confidence among residents of Plateau State. The statement said the council, alongside the legislative arm, traditional leaders, staff and residents of Riyom Local Government Area, joined other citizens in celebrating the governor’s milestone.

According to the council chairman, Mutfwang’s leadership style, which he described as inclusive and people-focused, has contributed to sustaining peace and stability across the state.“Your administration has consolidated the gains of peace across the state, restoring hope and confidence among our people,” the statement said.

Shuwa also commended the governor’s efforts in governance, infrastructure development and grassroots empowerment, noting that the progress recorded reflects his dedication to the development of Plateau State. The council offered prayers for the governor’s continued wisdom, good health and strength as he leads the state.Governor Mutfwang, who leads the administration under the “Time is Now” policy agenda, has prioritised peacebuilding, security and development initiatives across Plateau State.
