Police Girls Secondary School Shanono in Kano State shines at Kano Airforce Comprehensive School’s Annual Inter squadron Sports competition held last Wednesday.
The competition which was attended by prominent invited guests, invited schools, parents and guardians was hitch-free and colourful especially when the representative of Kano state government participated with keen interest.
Speaking during the closing ceremony of the competition, the school’s commandant Wing Commander M. Garba announced that this year’s Inter-Squadron sports competition was held after suspending the occasion due to outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic.
He reiterated the school’s commitments towards the progress of sporting activities in order to promote unity and good relationship among the students and to be physically fit with excellent and strong management.
The commandant thanked all those who trooped to the sports complex despites their tight commitment for honouring their invitation, adding that their presence has added more colour to the ceremony as seen during the encounters.
In conclusion, Wing Commander M. Garba reassured that his management team would continue to organise the school’s sports competition so as to makes the students more pleasant.
