Coalition Of Four Political Parties Condemned Utterances Of Other Political Parties

The four political parties, ADP, LP, NNPP and SDP led by the governorship candidate of ADP, Dr. Ibrahim Liman condemned the misguided utterances by some political leaders that amounted to disregard of the laws of the land and are capable of inciting violence and lawlessness in the conduct of the ongoing general elections.

They noted that prior to these utterances,acts of lawlessness including snatching of ballot boxes use of local weapons intimidation recorded during the Presidential ellection and therwfore appealed to the law enforcement agencies and the INEC to be more vigilant in monitoring the activities of all politicians and their supporters without fear or favour according to the oath they have taken.

He revealed that people of Sokoto state are victims of poor performance by the political class and do not enjoy the gains of devidence of democracy.

“You are destroyed and rendered backwards experiencing low quality of life, yet, we +ave all it takes to develop both in human and natural resources”,said Liman.

He then appealed to their supporters and all well-meaning citizens of Sokoto state to embrace peace and harmony as both civic responsibility and moral obligation.

Other governorship candidates at the briefing are that of LP Aminu Umar, NNPP Senator Umar Dahiru Tambuwal and SDP Senator Abubakar Gada.
