Terrorists kill Pastor’s son, abduct wife, 3 others in fresh Kaduna attack

Terrorists group have reportedly attacked Karimbu-Kahugu Community in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State and killed a pastor’s son in fresh attack.

The incident which happened on Friday morning claimed the life of the Baptist resident Pastor’s son, as the terror group also whisked away the pastor’s wife and three others.

The Vice Chairman, Kahugu National Development Associations, Peter Mukaddas, who confirmed the incidents said that the assailants invaded the village and went straight to the clergy’s residence.

It was gathered that the terrorists operated for over an hour unchallenged and in the process, shot sporadically at the ceiling were the Pastor’s son was hiding.

Mukaddas said they have since reported the matter to the police but residents in the area are in confusion as contact was yet to be established with the kidnappers.

“We’re appealing to the government and security agencies to swing into action and ensure our loved ones are rescued,” he said.

The spokesman of the Kaduna Police Command, Mohammed Jalige, could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.
