Ed-el-Fitr:Senator Wamakko Urges Muslim Faithfuls To Imbibe Lessons Of Ramadan

As the Month of Ramadan 1444/2023 came to an end on Thursday, APC leader in Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial District, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah over the successful completion of 29 days of Ramadan fast, 1444 AH.

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko was speaking shortly after breaking his fast at Gidan Kara village of Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State .

According to the statement by his media aide,Bashar Abubakar, Wamakko described the month of Ramadan as that of blessings and rewards, adding that, Allah answers prayers of His servants quickly especially during the month.

He, therefore, thanked the Almighty Allah for choosing Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto to lead the state as the Governor-elect who will be sworn in by Allah’s will in a matter of days to come.

He also expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah for giving APC the majority of all the seats contested for both at National and State Houses of Assembly.

The former Governor used the medium to pray for Allah’s forgiveness to the departed souls of Muslim brothers, sisters and all other members of the family who passed away during the period under review.

He also charged all Muslim faithfuls to ensure they use the lessons learned during the Ramadan period especially at the Tafsir time (Annual preaching) and at the other forums for the continued blessings and protection of the Almighty Allah.

Sen. Wamakko prayed for Allah’s assistance for the enhancement of business activities, welfare of the citizens and adequate security in the state for the overall development of the nation as a whole.

Many people attended the closing of the Ramadan breakfast at Gidan Kara village of Wamakko Local Government which was the 22nd edition of the annual gesture.

Senator Wamakko, however, enjoined the Muslim faithfuls to observe Eid-el-Fitr celebrations with utmost care and happiness which comes up on Friday.

The highlight of the Ramadan Iftar was the offering of special prayers by three Islamic scholars for more blessings from Allah, the Almighty.
