Sokoto Government Constitute Committee To Review Unnecessary Auction Of Government Assets

With the political atmosphere reigning in the country, the Sokoto state governor Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto has approved the constitution of a Committee to review wasteful and unnecessary auction of government assets

The Press Secretary to the governor,Malam Abubakar Bawa who addressed the Press on the activity said the committee has 19 members with Alhaji Jelani Kalfu as the Chairman and Mustapha Alkali as the Secretary.

Members of the committee were drawn from Ministry of Works, Army,Police, Civil Defence and host of other organisations in the state.

He said the Committee was constituted to review and identify government all the government assets auctioned unnecessarily and do what was expected of them.
