In a tragic incident involving the Titanic submarine, British university student Suleman lost his life, a decision influenced by his desire to appease his father, according to his aunt, Azmeh Dawood.

Suleman, aged 19, embarked on the ill-fated journey aboard the OceanGate submersible alongside his father, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, and three others. Unfortunately, the submarine suffered a devastating implosion a mere 1,600ft away from the Titanic’s bow.

Azmeh disclosed that Suleman was filled with fear and uncertainty about the expedition but reluctantly joined the crew to impress his father and commemorate Father’s Day with him.

Among the victims who tragically perished during the incident were OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, French Navy veteran Paul-Henri (PH) Nargeolet, and British billionaire Hamish Harding.

In an interview with NBC News, Azmeh expressed her anguish, saying, “I can’t help but think of Suleman, just 19 years old, trapped in there, struggling to breathe… It’s truly devastating.”

Since Sunday, Suleman and the other victims had been reported missing, with experts expressing little hope of recovering their remains.
