Sen. Wamakko Charges Sokoto Assembly Members To Consider Their Consrituents Before Anything

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko has charged members of the State House of Assembly to concentrate on providing the immediate needed dividends of democracy to their constituents rather than amassing wealth for luxury.

Senator Wamakko who is the APC leader in the state described the law makers as leaders in their various constituencies, even as he charged them to have mutual respect for the overall development of the State.

Wamakko expressed appreciation for the visit by the members under the leadership of the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon.Tukur Bala Bodinga.

Sen. Wamakko called on them to work with the executive arm of government towards ensuring effective and cordial working relationship for the rapid socio-economic development of the State and the nation at large.

He described the new APC journey as brighter considering the landslide victory recorded by the party largely from the government at the centre and most of the States of the federation.

He thanked Allah the Almighty for his continued blessings to them all the times.

Earlier, Rt. Tukur Bala Bodinga informed the Senator that they came to pay their homage and seek for his fatherly advice and appreciate him for the formidable role he played towards ensuring their success.

The Speaker added that in the 10th Assembly, APC is leading with 20 members against the oppositon PDP’s party 10.

He said that on their part, they will continue to knock the door of the Senator for any advice aimed at further moving the State forward.

The Speaker was accompanied on the visit by his Deputy, Hon. Kabiru Ibrahim Kware, Majority Leader, Hon. Bello Idris Chimmola, Majority Whip, Hon. Abdullahi Zakari Rabah and his Deputy, Hon. Almustapha Abdullahi, among other APC members in the House.

The visit was conducted at the residence of the APC leader in the State Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko at Gawon Nama, Sokoto.
