Federal College of Education (Technical) Bichi was agog when Baba Memorial Schools Bichi celebrate it’s 20 years anniversary where parents and guardians from far and near witnessed the colourful occasion.
All invited guests, both academics and non-academics attended the ceremony, while cultural entertainments were played to showcase the peaceful coexistence between the school management, parents and all the relevant tribes that enrolled their kids into pre-nursery, nursery and secondary sections.
In her welcome address, the proprietor of the school, Hajiya Safiya Mahmoud Baba Bichi announced that the school was established in August 2023 with 3 pupils adding that before the end of first term, they were able to enroll 38 pupils respectively.
She added that by the end of the season, Baba Memorial Schools acquired about 150 pupils from the catchment area due to excellent teaching and learning environment developed by the school which shows that the academic performance is very fruitful.
Hajiya Safiya Mahmoud Baba disclosed that the number of their pupils remained increasing where a secondary school section was established to accomodate more solid educational background and providing tge best graduate that would continue to be proud of at both levels.
Furthermore, the students and pupils of Baba Memorial schools were often conveyed to an excursions to various places in order to equip them with better knowledge of what is happening in a practical and physical dimensions.
Similarly, Hajiya Safiya stated that the school management is always trying it’s best to ensure that good education is given to the pupils at both schools, while some humanitarian assistances were also made to orphans and less priviledge ones so as to serve as an encouragements to their educational pursuit.
In conclusion, the propriator commended the school’s management team comprising the boards of directors,the academic and non-academic staff, parents and guardians and reassured that quality education would continue to be given at Baba Memorial School without bias.
