Akpabio Reveals Senators Received Funds for Holiday in Viral Video

A video that has gained widespread attention shows Senate President Godswill Akpabio disclosing that the clerk of the National Assembly has disbursed funds to all Senators, allowing them to enjoy their holiday break.

In a speech prior to the adjournment motion, Akpabio informed his fellow Senators about the monetary distribution made by the clerk of the National Assembly, aimed at facilitating their holiday season.

Speaking on camera, he conveyed, “To ensure everyone can fully relish their holidays, a nominal amount has been transferred to our respective accounts by the National Assembly’s clerk.”

Following discussions among his colleagues, Akpabio retracted his previous statement regarding the holiday funds, stating, “I take back my earlier comment.”

He continued, “To grant you a pleasant holiday experience, the Senate President has sent blessings to your email inboxes, wishing you a secure journey and safe return.”
