Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Bako Lalong, Offers Condolences to the Envulu Family

Simon Bako Lalong, the Minister of Labour and Employment and former Governor of Plateau State, paid a visit to the Envulu family in Jos to extend his condolences following the recent passing of their father, Pa Jonathan Jatau Envulu.

Pa Jonathan Envulu, the father of Josiah Envulu, who serves as the official photographer to the Minister of Labour and Employment, passed away in Jos on October 11th.

During his visit, Lalong expressed his sympathy to the widow of the deceased and other family members. He praised the late Pa Envulu as a man of peace who led a productive life and left a positive impact on society. Lalong highlighted the significant contributions Pa Envulu made to Plateau and Nasarawa States, as well as to Nigeria, during his years of service in various communication sectors, including TT&T, NTA, and PRTVC, before his retirement.

Lalong encouraged the family to find solace in the worthy legacies of love, compassion, and a sterling reputation that Pa Envulu left behind, which will endure for years to come.

In response, on behalf of the family, the deceased’s younger brother, Mr. Ayuba Envulu, expressed gratitude to the Minister for taking the time to personally visit, reflecting the deep consideration he has for the family. Ayuba Envulu thanked the Minister for his continued support of their son, who has worked as the official photographer over the years, and offered prayers for the Minister’s ongoing mentorship of the younger generation.
