Residents of Lagos Estate Thrown Into Panic as Enormous Snake Invades

By Daniel Edu

Dolphin Estate in Lagos State was plunged into a state of alarm as a massive python made its way into a resident’s home, ultimately meeting its demise last night.

Olaudah Equiano, a resident of the estate, recounted the incident. The snake was discovered in a property occupied by a known young man who was absent at the time, but his driver resided in the building’s quarters. The python had infiltrated the house by falling through a weakened ceiling in the driver’s quarters.

Frightened, the driver promptly contacted the property owner to alert him to the daunting presence of the enormous snake in his home. The property owner wasted no time, calling upon a friend from Parkview estate who arrived armed with a licensed shotgun, quickly dispatching the python.

A video shared by Olaudah on social media captured the jubilant reaction of the residents after the successful elimination of the snake.

In unrelated news, wildlife conservationist Raynus Henry Ebiegberi recently posted images on social media showcasing a shark caught in Bayelsa State. This intriguing incident unfolded in Akassa community, Brass Local Government Area of the state. Unfortunately, the shark was found lifeless upon discovery.
