By Daniel Edu

A heartbreaking incident occurred in Northern Nigeria where a bride-to-be took her own life after her groom passed away just one week before their planned wedding. The wedding was originally scheduled for October 22, 2023, but due to the groom’s tragic demise, it was canceled on Saturday, October 14.

In a deeply sorrowful turn of events, the bride, burdened by grief, took her own life on the same day. She had gone to bed alongside her father but tragically did not wake up. It was reported that she left a suicide note, further underscoring the profound sorrow she must have been experiencing.
