“I’m Eager to Secure Liam’s Future”: Mohbad’s Father Clarifies Desperation for DNA Test

In a recent revelation, Mohbad’s father explained the underlying reason for his persistent request for a DNA test. He emphasized that his sole motivation is to safeguard the future of his “grandson” Liam.

This statement comes in response to inquiries from the public questioning his insistence on Mohbad’s wife, Omawunmi, undergoing a DNA test. Iyabo Ojo had previously disclosed her conversation with Omawunmi, who expressed no objection to the test as long as those requesting it were willing to cover the expenses. Omawunmi cited financial challenges as she continues to care for her son.

Last week, Kemi Filani reported that Mohbad’s father’s sister criticized Mohbad’s mother for being an absentee parent, alleging that she deserted Mohbad at the age of 8 to be with another man.

Amidst the controversy, a man named ETA advocated for a DNA test, suggesting that Omawunmi could potentially be a suspect in Mohbad’s death. Mohbad passed away on September 12th, surrounded by various controversies, and the autopsy results are awaited to shed light on the circumstances of his death and identify those responsible.
