Fatal Accident on Abuja-Keffi Road Stemming from FRSC’s Unauthorized Checkpoint

A devastating incident has occurred along Keffi Road, claiming numerous lives due to an unauthorized roadblock set up by Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) personnel.

In the aftermath, enraged locals have engaged in mob action against the FRSC officers, prompting police intervention with the use of tear gas to prevent further chaos.

The illicit roadblock triggered a series of accidents, with a truck trailer carrying a caterpillar colliding with a luxury bus bound for the East. This collision, in turn, resulted in additional damage to other vehicles, including one from Borno Express.

As of now, the FRSC personnel responsible for the accident have sought refuge at the Keffi Military checkpoint.
