BREAKING: Lucky Aiyedatiwa Sworn in as Ondo State Governor

Lucky Aiyedatiwa has officially been sworn in as the new Governor of Ondo State. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Government House in Alagbaka, Akure, on Wednesday. This development comes following the passing of the former state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, who succumbed to prostate cancer at the age of 67 in Germany. Akeredolu had previously taken two medical vacations, the first on April 3, 2023, and the second on July 10, 2023, returning to the country on September 7, as communicated to the state House of Assembly.
