The Kaduna State Police Command has reported the arrest of two individuals for the theft of a generator and solar battery from a mosque in Kaduna.

According to ASP Mansir Hassan, the Police Public Relations Officer for the command, detectives acted on credible information, leading to the arrest of the first suspect in the Sabon Garin area of Hunkuyi Local Government Area. The suspect, initially detained for suspicious movement around the mosque, later confessed to the theft from mosques in Hunkuyi and Nahuce villages.

During the investigation, the first suspect revealed selling the stolen items to the second suspect. Recovered exhibits are now part of the ongoing investigation, and upon completion, the suspects will face charges in court.
