Dungurawa Secondary School Parents Teachers Association(PTA) have joined hands in order to work very hard in the restoration of education at the school with optimum results.
This was disclosed at the end of the meeting held recently at the school where a Parents teachers association was formed to tackle problems affecting the school.
Malam Abdulhamid Garba Kunnawa Majema who emerged as the chairman told our correspondent that the decision to form the PTA at this moment was to save the school from disintegration due to the decreasing number of students attending the school.
He lamented that he is ready to lead the association very well so as to restore the school’s population where he called on the parents and guardians to support their move in order to achieve what they have planned.
Abdulhamid Kunnawa added that ” We know how the school principal is working selflessly to ensure that the school becomes more examplary and with our helping hands, this would be achieved because all the PTA exco are ready to work as a team to salvage the learning edifice”.
The school accommodate students from Dungurawa, Kunnawa, Waddau, Rawaki and Gudau-Jola Towns while the PTA leaders have swung into action to actualize their plans.
