Man Arrested for Stealing from Worship Centres in Ogun State

Ayomide Ibrahim, aged 25, has been apprehended by the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation, and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) for burglary and theft. The arrest took place during a routine patrol in the Baba Ode area of Iju, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area.

Ibrahim, reportedly hailing from Abeokuta, confessed to being part of a robbery gang specializing in stealing from worship centres in the area. He disclosed that stolen items, including church instruments, were sold at the Arena Shopping Complex in Oshodi, Lagos.

The So-Safe Corps transferred the recovered items from the suspect to the Nigeria Police Force, Onipanu Divisional Police Headquarters for further investigation and potential prosecution.
