Newly sworn- in Senior Special Assistants of Mikang local Government council of Plateau state have been urged to discharge their statutory functions with high sense of diligence and dedication to duty.
The Transition committee chairman of the council, Hon. Daniel Kungmi gave the charge while administering oath of office in a ceremony held at the council chambers in the LGA .
Kungmi while appreciating the Governor of Plateau state,Barr. Caleb Mutfwang for the choice of the Senior Special Assistants, called on them to be magnanimous in the discharge of their duties for the actualization of the ” Time is now” policy of the state Governor .
He said, all hands must be on deck to move the state to higher height.

Information officer ,Mikang local Government council said the the Chairman said, the administration of Gov. Caleb Mutfwang is poised at repositioning and restoring back the glory of Plateau state going by the high level of development going on in the state and implore them to key into this program to restore confidence in the electorate.
Hon. Kungmi also enjoined the members to stay with their people and know their needs and aspiration , saying they should only embark on projects that is beneficial to the people.
Those sworn- in and their portfolios are Hon. Vera Mamsing is to serve as the deputy chairman and to over see the revenue department also Hon.Nungkat Koplam Euluk is to serve as the council secretary ,also sworn in are Hon. Caleb Peleng Jiryep who is to over see the activities of the Primary Health Care department ,Hon. Donatus Worka Soembok,Hon.Andrawus Adua’a, Joshua Nansing,Hon.Waikoen Muendet and Hon.Jurmang G. Kaduet are to over see the agriculture,WASH, social services, Works and Education departments respectively.
Responding on behalf of the other members, the deputy chairman, Hon. Vera Mamsing appreciated the Governor ,Barr. Caleb Mutfwang and the Transition committee chairman for finding them worthy to serve in their cabinet and assured him of their unflinching loyalty and support .
