Sad: Mahmoud lose house, property to fire outbreak

The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud today, Sunday afternoon lost her private residence and all property to fire outbreak which occured at her Abuja home in Asokoro district.

The Minister of State’s residence located at Abuja’s highbrow area, in Asokoro district, was completely razed down by fire outbreak which razed down the building.

As at the time of filing this report, no official statement has been released on the incident which occured at her residence at No. 9, Justice Rosaline Ukeji Close, Asokoro.
However, it was gathered that the fire razed down everything and nothing was salvaged as emergency response was slow to reach the resident.
The Media aide to the minister, Mr. Austin Elemue who confirmed the incident said that investigation is being carried out to unravel the cause of the fire outbreak.
