**Kano TikToker Rejects Psychiatric Injection Amid Legal Battle**

By Daniel Edu

In a dramatic turn of events, Murja Ibrahim Kunya, a TikToker from Kano State, has rejected an injection ordered by the Kano State Hospitals Management Board at Dawanau Psychiatric Hospital. Murja had been arraigned by the HISBAH Police for alleged immoral content and activities contrary to Islamic laws. Following a court ruling, she was transferred to Dawanau Psychiatric Hospital for mental health screening. However, Murja refused to allow doctors to administer a psychiatric injection, asserting her right to know her health condition before treatment. Her lawyer, A. U Haji, argued that the court only ordered mental screening, not injection, and emphasized her right to be informed about her health status.
