FCT Residents Loot NEMA Warehouse Amid Economic Hardship

Amidst the prevailing economic challenges across Nigeria, some residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reportedly looted a warehouse belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Sunday.

The warehouse, located in the Phase 3 region of Abuja, was targeted by residents seeking relief from the economic hardship gripping the nation.

Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the FCT command, confirmed the incident, stating that the situation is now under control.

In a related development, youths in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, took to the streets on Monday to protest against the soaring prices of food and the overall state of the economy.
