Soulcomms, a renowned Strategic Communications and Engagement Agency, has announced the appointment of Ugochukwu Uwajeh as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Uwajeh, previously the Group Head of Strategic Communications at Soulcomms, will now lead the agency following the departure of Mojisola Saka, who served in the position for 13 years.
Expressing her gratitude, outgoing Chief Operating Officer Mojisola Saka thanked the company, its leadership, clients, and colleagues for the enriching journey she experienced during her tenure. She praised the talented and passionate individuals she had the privilege to work with and acknowledged the remarkable milestones achieved and impactful campaigns delivered together.
In addition to the leadership transition, Soulcomms celebrated its 20th anniversary by unveiling a commemorative logo, marking a significant milestone in its journey.
Reflecting on the company’s evolution, Udeme Ufot, Group Managing Director of SO&U Group and Board Member of Soulcomms, highlighted Soulcomms’ origins as a department within SO&U that eventually grew into an independent agency. He commended the succession of leadership within Soulcomms, noting the successful transitions from the pioneer CEO to Yemi Odusote and then to Mojisola Saka. Ufot also recognized Ugochukwu Uwajeh’s steadfast support to Saka throughout her leadership tenure.
