Movement For The Democratic Support And Good Governance (MSDG) have called on governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state to concentrate on developmental programmes instead of launching an investigation on past administration.
Speaking to our correspondent in Kano, the national president of the association Alhaji Dauda Mohammed Ali stated that investigation of past administrations may result in the waste of time, diverting the minds of citizens and spending of excess public funds without coming up with genuine facts about what had happened.
” we are certain that investigating past administration is a waste of time and resources, therefore we are advising the governor of Kano state to sheath his sword and commence projects that would benefits the people at both rural and urban communities “. He added.
Alhaji Dauda Mohammed Ali lamented that every administration has it’s own blueprint of governance, and the four year term is just like a dream therefore it is important to Abba Kabir administration to swing into action with a zeal towards the progress of kano state in every sector, like what is being seen from the past administrations.
MSDG concluded that governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has done well towards the development of Kano state based on the many projects his government executed from 2015 to 2023, which have proven that his administration impacted dividend of democracy without bias, despite many challenges affected by global economic predicament.
