AGN Suspends Filming in Riverine Areas After Junior Pope’s Death

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has suspended filming in riverine areas and taken decisive action against producer Adamma Luke in response to the tragic death of actor Junior Pope.

Junior Pope tragically drowned in a river in Anam, Anambra State, causing outrage among the public, who criticized Adamma Luke for reportedly failing to provide life jackets for the actor during the shoot.

In response to the incident, the AGN has suspended all movie shoots involving riverine locations indefinitely. Additionally, all actors are now prohibited from working with Adamma Luke as a producer in any movie. Filming across the country was also suspended on Thursday, April 11.
