Sokoto Media Cooperation Promotes 125 Staff

The Sokoto State Media Cooperation headed by the General Manager, Labaran Lumu Dundaye has today celebrated promotion and contribution acknowledgement of 125 staff of the organisation.

Speaking at the brief ceremony, the Managing Director of the organisation, Alhaji Labaran Lumu Dundaye, informed the gathering about hosting the maiden gathering and the reasons behind which included boosting the moral of staff especially on government activities.

Unconnected with their contributions,the MD added that the gathering should acknowledge promtions of those who deserved and those that deserve commendations of the organisation and had performed their duties deligently during the Sallah celebrations

He further said they had presenlty lifted the frquency of Rima Television so that theu can seen and reached anywhere in the world.

“At the time I was made the MD, there were several dormant achievements that neede urgent attention but were left unattended.

He challenged them to complement the efforts through dedication to work.

He tgen thanked the state government for appointing him Managing Director of the organisation and promised to complement through promoting the governor’s nine smart agendas and train youths on various skills connected with television, radio and newspaper works.

The ceremony that took place in the early hours of Wednesday was attended by the NUJ Sokoto Council Chairman Dalhatu Abdullahi Safiyal Magori, General Manager Alu Ya Gode media cooperation, Bashar Abubakar, The Paths and Rima Radio Managers and Directors as well as couple of members of the Correspondent Chapel and hosts of friends and well wishers of the Cooperation.
