“On our part, we considered paying salaries to Ulamas,Muazzims and Arabic scholars across the state”.

Ahmad Aliyu also said the Toyota Camry purchased for mother and town service has yielded support the reason why the gesture is extended to local areas for transportation at affordable prices.

He urged the drivers of these buses to utilize rhem accordingly for their benefit and their rural people calling on the local governments administrators to ensure they hand over the buses to reliable drivers.

Earlier in his welcome address, Commissioner for Religious Affairs Dr. Jabir Sani Maihulla informed the gathering that with the support and advises of the APC party leader, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko tremendous achievements have been recorded wirhin the 365 days of days of this administration that has direct bearing with the lives of Sokoto people.

Senator Yari Abubakar reiterated that Alu is not a leader but an elder stateman in Nigeria asserting that it is the work of the government to alleviate poverty, to create work, introduce new ways of earning income for its people.

Ulamas spent their time teaching on how to come closer to God free of charge without knowing who will take care of them saying over two thousand of them would benefit with one hundred thousand naira each which he considered a gigantic effort.

Unconnected with the fact that he has never seen a relationship between the government and the leader, “the relationship between the governor and the party leader is like that of a good family”.
