JAMB Announces Availability of 2024 UTME Result Slips for Printing

By Milcah Tanimu

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced on Monday that the result slips for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are now available for printing. The slips, featuring candidates’ photographs and advanced security measures, can be printed from approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers starting from Monday, July 22, 2024.

According to a statement by JAMB’s Head of Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, result slips cannot be printed from cyber cafes or other internet-enabled platforms. He advised candidates to use approved channels to avoid falling victim to fraudulent activities, such as attempted score inflation.

Benjamin also noted that candidates’ scores were previously released via the Board’s sort codes, and this physical copy serves as a secure and verifiable record of their results.

The printing of the 2024 UTME result slips had been delayed by the Board. On July 18, 2024, JAMB revealed that three candidates scored 367, the highest scores in the 2024 UTME. These top scorers are Olowu Joseph from Ondo State, Alayande David from Oyo State, and Orukpe Joel from Edo State. This was disclosed during the ongoing 2024 policy meeting by JAMB in Abuja.
