Heed Elders’ Advice for Betterment – Female Politician Urges Colleagues

*By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajiya Amina Dikko, has urged fellow political aspirants to heed the advice of experienced politicians, particularly those well-versed in political activities.

Amina, who had initially decided to contest for a councillorship position under the APC, revealed that she was advised by her political mentor, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, to withdraw from the race.

According to her, the seasoned senator suggested that, despite her contributions and exposure, her reserved nature might require her to wait for a more opportune time when she would be better prepared.

“Knowing my mentor’s wisdom, I heeded his advice and withdrew from contesting for the Arkilla Ward councillorship position. I am grateful for his foresight,” Amina stated.

“I will wait for the right time, as advised by my political godfather, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.”
