Korede Bello Reveals Why He Left Mavins Records

Singer Korede Bello has opened up about his decision to part ways with Mavins Records, the label he was signed to from 2014 to 2021.

In a recent interview with Hip TV, the “Godwin” hitmaker explained that he felt the need to reassess his personal growth and artistic direction, which led to his departure.

Bello said, “I was at a point in my life where I needed to evolve, to explore my inner self, do some introspection, understand my purpose, and reconnect with my ‘why.'”

He added, “I started feeling like a product at Mavins Records, just there to make money. When you’re constantly chasing the next hit or whatever keeps you relevant in conversations, you can lose sight of what really matters. A lot of artists get trapped in that cycle.”
