Nigerian Army troops have successfully killed two terrorists and recovered arms and equipment following an ambush on insurgents in Kwaga village, Kaduna State.
In a statement shared on the Army’s social media platforms, the troops, stationed in Kwaga village within the Birnin Gwari local government area, intercepted the terrorists while they were moving along the Birnin Gwari-Manini axis.
After an intense firefight, the soldiers neutralized two of the terrorists, while the others fled. The troops recovered two AK-47 rifles, three rifle magazines, a Baofeng radio, and three motorcycles used by the insurgents during the operation.
