Psalmy Exclusive Shines At Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria With Exquisite Designs

The 9th edition of Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria witnessed an unforgettable showcase by Psalmy Exclusive, the rising star in the world of Nigerian men’s fashion.

Known for its bold use of colors, intricate tailoring, and an aesthetic that blends African tradition with contemporary flair, Psalmy Exclusive took the stage by storm, proving once again that its designs are redefining men’s fashion on the continent.

The 9th edition of Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria (MFWN) took place with a vibrant display of African creativity, innovative designs, and bold statements in men’s fashion.

Held in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, the event showcased an impressive blend of tradition and modernity, as it brought together established designers, emerging talents, and fashion enthusiasts from across the continent and beyond.

Psalmy Exclusive’s collection, aptly titled Heritage Redefined, was one of the standout moments of the event among BLACKADUDU’s collection, TEED: African High Fashion with Graceful Precision, DRESSMEUP Creations from Benin Republic, SIMENI Clothing just to mention a few, Psalmy Exclusive’s was a celebration of African culture, featuring luxurious fabrics and bold patterns inspired by traditional Nigerian motifs, all while maintaining a sleek and modern edge.

Its designs featured rich earth tones, vibrant abstract prints, and carefully embroidered details that reflected a deep connection to its African roots.

Models strutted down the runway in a diverse range of pieces, from sharply tailored suits to flowing robes and kaftans. Each piece was meticulously crafted, showcasing the designer’s keen attention to detail and its ability to merge the old with the new. Bold patterns were complemented by subtle touches, such as hand-woven embellishments and hand-dyed fabrics that spoke to the craftsmanship behind every look.

The Creative Director of Psalmy Exclusive, Samuel Awonuga, said “What made Psalmy Exclusive’s collection particularly captivating is our ability to seamlessly blend tradition with modernity. Our designs offered a fresh take on classic African menswear, introducing innovative cuts and unconventional silhouettes. Structured blazers were paired with flowing pants, and traditional wears were reimagined with slimmer, more modern fits.”

“The Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria was another good avenue to showcase few of our latest design which was indeed a collective efforts from the team, it was a total departure from our pervious designs which made it stand out from other collections showcased at the runway which was widely accepted by the audience and other designers has expressed their interest to collaborate with us on future projects.”

The 9th edition of Men’s Fashion Week Nigeria was a reminder of the continent’s influence on global fashion, with Nigerian designers leading the charge in creativity and innovation. As the event came to a close, it was clear that the future of African men’s fashion is bright.
