Plateau LG Election: Langtang South Lawmaker Hon. Bendal Commends Gov. Mutfwang Over Peaceful Polls

A member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, representing Langtang South constituency, Hon. Bendal Nancwat Domfa, has commended Governor Caleb Mutfwang for the peaceful conduct of the October 9, 2024, council polls.

He also urged the 17 newly inaugurated council chairmen to align with Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s objectives of improving the lives of the state’s citizens.

Hon. Bendal lauded the governor for overseeing free and fair local government elections across all 17 local government areas.

He expressed gratitude to the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission for its commitment to conducting a transparent and credible election.

“While congratulating the newly elected Chairman of Langtang South Local Government Council, Hon. Nanfa Nbin, and other council chairmen, Hon. Bendal urged them to prioritize peace, development, and unity at the grassroots level by focusing on the people’s welfare, in line with Gov. Caleb Mutfwang’s *The Time is Now* administration.

“I will continue to work collaboratively with the Chairman of Langtang South, Hon. Nbin, as well as others, to bring good governance to our people.”

“I congratulate the winners of the recently concluded local government elections in Plateau State.”

Hon. Bendal also called on his constituents to maintain strong faith in Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s government, which is delivering significant democratic dividends to the people of the state.

The lawmaker emphasized that Governor Mutfwang’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare of Plateau citizens is a hallmark of good governance. He highlighted the governor’s efforts to fulfill his campaign promises through various major projects and urged the people of Langtang South to support the administration.

Hon. Bendal affirmed that Governor Mutfwang deserves full support due to his remarkable projects and plans to transform the state. “Governor Mutfwang is a listening leader, and I am confident our people will benefit from his Excellency’s initiatives,” he said.
