Cooperate with New Perm Sec, MD Rural Electrification Board Urges Staff

The Managing Director of the Kano Rural Electrification Board, Engineer Sani Bala, has urged staff to cooperate fully with the newly appointed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Rural and Community Development, Hajiya Fatima Adamu, to enable her to discharge her duties effectively.

Engineer Sani Bala made this appeal while receiving the new Permanent Secretary in his office. He assured her of a harmonious working environment from all staff, which he said would help the Board excel in its activities. The Managing Director also expressed his gratitude to Hajiya Fatima Adamu for her visit.

During her familiarization tour, the Permanent Secretary visited key departments, including the Rural Access and Mobility (RAM) unit, led by the Director General, Engineer Sarki Ahmad. Engr. Ahmad commended her visit and pledged full support and cooperation. He also thanked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointing Hajiya Fatima Adamu as Permanent Secretary of the Ministry for Rural and Community Development.

In her remarks, Hajiya Fatima Adamu expressed gratitude to the Governor for giving her the opportunity to serve in the capacity of Permanent Secretary. She assured staff of her commitment to fostering rapid progress across the Ministry and its affiliated Boards.

The press statement, signed and issued by Farouk Ghali Masanawa, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry for Rural Development, Kano State, emphasized the Permanent Secretary’s determination to achieve meaningful development under her leadership.
