Popular Nigerian singer Timaya has shared a remarkable story of how his faith played a role in his journey to owning a Bentley, revealing that he first bought a key holder for the luxury car at Bishop David Oyedepo’s Shiloh event, even though he couldn’t afford the car at the time.

During a recent interview with Naija FM 102.7, Timaya reflected on the power of belief and how it has shaped his life and career. While recounting an encounter with fellow artist Burna Boy, he highlighted how faith and confidence can lead to extraordinary outcomes.

“Nothing Burna Boy is doing now surprises me. The guy is fearless,” Timaya said. He recounted an incident in a studio where Burna Boy confidently claimed that a time would come when he would get paid to fly on private jets. When singers Omawumi and Waje expressed skepticism, Burna Boy asked them to leave the studio.

Drawing parallels to his own journey, Timaya revealed how his faith also paved the way for his success.

“Before I bought my Bentley, I first got the key holder at Shiloh. I didn’t even have the money for the Bentley then. I just went to Shiloh because I’m a Winner,” he said, referencing the church’s event and his association with Winners Chapel.

Timaya’s story underscores the importance of belief and perseverance, serving as inspiration for many striving to achieve their dreams.
