“When I Almost Became Bobrisky, But God Said No” – Tosin Silverdam Reflects on His Journey

By Abigail Philip David

Media personality and Instagram blogger Tosin Silverdam recently shared a deeply personal testimony about overcoming challenges in his life. Taking to Instagram, Tosin posted a throwback photo and revealed how he nearly followed a path similar to controversial figure Bobrisky but credited God for steering him in a different direction.

Expressing gratitude for growth, Tosin opened up about the struggles he faced growing up, including low self-esteem and the trauma of being sexually abused by a neighbor, teacher, and church minister. He admitted that looking feminine was difficult for him, and he despised his appearance.

“I hated how I looked growing up. I had low self-esteem and was severely abused and harassed. But I grew up and realized I could work on myself. That’s why you always see me in the gym lifting weights. I even underwent surgery to remove my boobs,” Tosin shared.

He also confessed to battling his feminine mannerisms, adding, “This is who I am, and I’ve come to terms with it.”

In a related post, actor Adeniyi Johnson recently caused a stir online after embracing crossdressing humorously. Sharing photos of himself with makeup and eyelashes, he joked about taking over Bobrisky’s throne and playfully dubbed himself “Niyirisky.”

Meanwhile, Bobrisky’s past feud with Tosin Silverdam resurfaced. Last year, Bobrisky took legal action against Tosin, accusing him of defamation after Tosin alleged that Bobrisky exploited his female workers. The case followed a video Tosin posted, which led to a heated exchange and eventual court proceedings.

Despite his struggles, Tosin’s story is one of resilience and growth, inspiring many to confront their challenges and embrace their journeys.
