Senator Nora Daduut, former representative of Plateau South Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly, has confirmed that her WhatsApp account has been hacked by unauthorized individuals.

In a statement issued on Friday, Daduut, who currently serves as the Pro-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, urged the public to disregard any messages sent from the compromised account.

“I deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause and urge everyone to disregard any message of request received from the said number until further notice,” the statement read.

The senator also assured the public that efforts are underway to address the issue and secure her account.

Daduut advised recipients of any suspicious messages from her hacked account to exercise caution and report such communications to relevant authorities if necessary.
