The All Progressives Congress (APC) Councillors’ Forum in Kano State has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the party’s presence across the state’s 484 wards and 44 local government areas.
The forum’s chairman, Hon. Adamu Muktar Adamu, revealed this during an interview with our correspondent after their routine meeting on Tuesday in Kano, which was attended by members from across the state.
According to Hon. Adamu, the forum was established to provide a unified platform for addressing internal party issues and fostering unity among members. He emphasized that their goal is to ensure the APC regains power in the 2027 general elections.
“We formed this forum to create a strong avenue for resolving challenges within the APC in Kano State. Our primary focus is to rebuild and strengthen the party from the grassroots level. At a time when teamwork is crucial, especially among ex-councillors, we are working tirelessly to make the party stronger than ever,” Hon. Adamu stated.
He reiterated that the APC remains the party with the best blueprint for national transformation, adding that the forum is committed to supporting the party’s vision for positive change in Nigeria.
In his concluding remarks, Hon. Adamu commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his exceptional developmental programs aimed at advancing the nation. He also praised the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and Kano State Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, for their unwavering dedication to keeping the APC’s flag flying high.
