Bello Yahaya Wurno Appointed As Chairman Governing Board SRRBDA

Governor Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto has on Monday appointed Bello Yahaya Wurno as the Chairman Governing Board, Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority. 

Upon receiving the appointment letter, Bello used the medium to express his special appreciation and to acknowledge the kind support and assistance offered to him during the processing and follow-ups of this appointment by the Executive Governor of Sokoto State Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto PhD, fcna, and the State APC leader Distinguished Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (Sarkin Yakin Sokoto ) and to all those who sent goodwill and solidarity messages I say thank you.

“It is pertinent to acknowledge that this appointment facilitated by His Excellency Governor Ahmed Aliyu and our leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, is not personal to myself but an honour to the entire People of Sokoto State; therefore, I count on your continued prayers, support and cooperation to enable us to succeed in this onerous task.

“At this point, I pray that the Ahmad Aliyu-led administration will continue to record more laurels and accolades in all spheres of endeavours. In Sokoto State, We have every cause to appreciate our hardworking Governor for his steadfastness and dedication to providing dividends of democracy to all the nooks and crannies of the State as well as facilitating key appointments to several Prominent Persons from the State at the National level. This is worthy of commendation by all individuals and organizations in the State”.

He said their collaboration in areas of food security, poverty reduction, empowerment and accelerated rural economic growth will be of utmost priority 

“Your constructive inputs will be happily welcomed as we set to pilot the affairs of the Authority with commitment and desire to make a difference In Sha Allah” .

Further, Bello Yahaya Wurno assured that the new Management of Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority will live up to Mr President’s expectations in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda while assuring our esteemed Stakeholders in Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina and Zamfara States of our commitment to restore the glory of the Authority with renewed vigour and productivity.

We have a formidable team capable of taking the Authority to an enviable position In Sha Allah.
