Turkish Airlines Deploys Bigger Aircraft To Nigeria As Passengers’ Protest

Jennifer Y Omiloli

Turkish Airlines has surrendered to threats by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority of being kicked out of the nation by conveying greater air ship to Lagos and Abuja.

NCAA had taken steps to sack the carrier from Nigeria on the off chance that it kept on deferring travelers’ registration gear on landing in Lagos and Abuja air terminals.

The carrier has conveyed a greater air ship, an Airbus 330 to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, instead of the past Boeing 737 it utilized for the course.

The utilization of the B737, which is a littler flying machine with a most extreme limit of 150 travelers, made hardship travelers whose gear were reliably deserted in Istanbul, Turkey by the carrier.

This constrained a few travelers to dissent the non-appearance of their registration baggage.

Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, confirmed the news on his official Twitter page.

He said, “Turkish Air operated A330 to Abuja today as against the small B737 in apparent response to our suspension order. We needed not to get to this,”

Turkish Airlines is purportedly infamous for its poor treatment of Nigerian voyagers particularly when they need to show up their goals without their handled in baggage.
