The governor and myself are doing very well – Deputy Governor, Ondo

Joanna Yusuf

Ondo Deputy Governor of the State Agboola Ajayi has described the’ rift’ between him and Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as a normal political occurrence.

Rumor has it that things are no longer rosy about the governor’s re-election bid between Ajayi and his boss.

Ajayi, who spoke at the Apo’s “Praise Night,” blamed politicians seeking government approval for worsening the disparity between him and his boss.

Ajayi said: “You must have been hearing one or two comments here and there about a conflict between me and the governor. Don’t worry yourself. It is a normal thing in politics.

“The governor and myself are doing very well. We are brothers and we are working together for the progress of Ondo State.”
