The Minister of Works, David Nweze Umahi, has extended Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims across Nigeria, urging citizens to promote unity and support national development. In a message marking the end of Ramadan, Umahi congratulated Muslim faithful on completing the fast, describing the period as one of reflection, discipline, and compassion.
He called on Nigerians to uphold values such as peace, justice, and kindness, particularly towards vulnerable groups, and emphasised the importance of tolerance and mutual respect in fostering national progress. The minister also encouraged prayers for the country’s peace, stability, and continued development.
Umahi reaffirmed the Federal Ministry of Works’ commitment to delivering infrastructure projects aimed at improving living standards and supporting economic growth. He wished Muslims a peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration and prayed for continued prosperity and good health for Nigerians.
