Plateau-based youth activist and philanthropist Pius Hoomen has extended Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims across the state and Nigeria, calling for unity and peaceful coexistence.
In a statement issued in Jos, Hoomen congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan and wished them a peaceful and fulfilling celebration. He urged citizens to sustain the values of compassion, discipline, charity, and tolerance observed during the fasting period, noting that these principles are essential for building a harmonious society.“
May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, and grant us peace and prosperity,” he said. Hoomen also encouraged Nigerians, regardless of religious background, to support one another and promote mutual understanding in their communities. He added that collective efforts toward peace and cooperation are vital for national development.
