The Renewed Hope Ambassadors have announced the programme for their upcoming South-South Zonal Summit in Asaba, Delta State, aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation and public awareness of government reforms.
Speaking to journalists, Delta State Coordinator Funkekeme Solomon said the two-day event will bring together coordinators and stakeholders from across the South-South region under the theme, “One Party, One Message, One Mobilization.”He said the summit is designed to improve coordination and communication among members, following a similar engagement previously held in Abuja.
According to Solomon, activities will begin with registration at the Press Centre, Government House, Asaba, followed by opening remarks from event officials. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is expected to attend as chief host, while the National Coordinator of the group, Hope Uzodinma, will declare the summit open.
The programme will feature presentations on governance, reforms, and political communication by invited speakers, alongside discussions on grassroots mobilisation strategies. A communiqué is expected at the end of the summit, outlining key resolutions.
Solomon added that the event will also include the inauguration of local government and ward coordinators tasked with expanding outreach efforts. He said about 150 participants are expected, expressing confidence that the summit will enhance collaboration and strengthen engagement across the region.
