The Nasarawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended one of its members, Adamu Bako Ninga, over alleged misconduct and anti-party activities. The decision was announced in a letter issued by the party’s State Working Committee (SWC) following a meeting held on March 25, 2026. The letter was signed by the State Secretary, Kafas Kaura.
According to the party, the suspension followed deliberations on actions it described as inconsistent with its constitution. The allegations include misconduct, failure to convene official meetings, and actions considered contrary to party interests. The PDP also alleged that Ninga engaged in activities that undermined internal processes and decision-making within the party.
The SWC directed Ninga to proceed on a one-month suspension pending the outcome of a disciplinary process. It stated that a committee would be set up to investigate the allegations and recommend further action. The party also instructed him to hand over any party property in his possession to the Deputy Chairman. The PDP said the decision was taken in line with its constitution and emphasised that further steps would depend on the findings of the disciplinary committee.
