Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea, Nora Ladi Daduut, has called on Christians to reflect on the values of love, sacrifice, and forgiveness during the Easter celebration.In a statement issued in Jos, Daduut said Easter symbolises hope, redemption, and the triumph of light over darkness, urging Nigerians to embrace these values to strengthen national unity.
She encouraged citizens to remain prayerful for the country’s leaders, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and to support ongoing government reforms aimed at long-term development. Daduut also urged Nigerians to promote peace and community spirit, stressing the need to avoid divisive actions and work towards national cohesion.
She expressed appreciation for the President’s recent visit to Plateau State following attacks in parts of the state, and commended Governor Caleb Mutfwang for efforts to restore peace. The ambassador concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful Easter and encouraged citizens to use the season as an opportunity for reflection and national renewal.
